zeeker.com is a social network with threaded conversations, communities, reactions, saves, search, notifications, and DMs.
This section documents every user-facing feature. If you're embedding Zeeker on another site instead, see the Embed docs. The two products share the same accounts, posts and moderation rules.

The 60-second tour
- Sign up with email + password, or via Google / Apple. Pick a username — usernames are unique and reserved across the platform.
- Post anything: a thought, a link, an image. Posts can be plain text or carry a title for long-form pieces.
- Reply to anyone. Replies thread up to 12 ancestors deep with adjacent-sibling context shown for the top-3 replies.
- React, save to your library, or share a post to another community or by link.
- Follow people and topics; the home feed mixes follows, communities you joined, and a discovery layer.
- Communities group conversations by interest. Joining a community surfaces its posts and unlocks community-only posting.
- DMs live at
chat.zeeker.comand share your identity.
The Social and Explore apps share your Explore preferences. Location, topics, Following-only, and external-source choices stay aligned across Zeeker domains and signed-in sessions.
Explore viewer
Explore shows one story at a time. On mobile, swipe left for the next story and right to go back. Swipe up to open replies, or use the reply button. For long stories, scroll to the end before swiping up. Double-tap a story to like it; the bookmark button saves it for later. On a computer, use the arrow buttons or arrow keys to move between stories.
On your first visit in a browser, a short tour introduces those gestures and the More menu after the first story is ready. You can skip the tour at any point. It stays dismissed in that browser, and you can replay it from More → Take a tour. Returning visitors who already dismissed the welcome screen can start it from the same menu.
Open More in the bottom action bar to sign in, choose Tune your feed, or change the theme and other settings. You can browse before signing in; actions that need an account open sign-in when needed.
YouTube stories include external play/pause and mute controls. The play/pause button follows the player's actual playback state. If your browser or Low Power Mode blocks autoplay, it shows Play so you can start the video yourself. When playback is blocked or the YouTube connection fails, YouTube's own player controls become available for recovery.
Mobile navigation
Swipe horizontally across tabbed feeds to change tabs; page headers and vertical scroll remain independent of the tab gesture. Revisiting a tab restores its remembered viewport before the swipe preview is removed. Back buttons and the system back gesture likewise return to the previous screen at its prior scroll position before that screen is revealed, so there is no intermediate jump to the top. Returning from a post to Search also restores the query and its results.
Offline startup
If Social cannot reach the internet while a page or community is starting, the loading indicator changes to a connection message with a Try again action. Restoring connectivity retries a custom-domain community on that same domain; temporary network and server failures do not redirect visitors away from it. A domain is redirected to canonical Social only when the live resolver authoritatively reports that its community mapping is missing or disabled.
